The key stages in buying or selling your home are

  1. When you instruct us to act on your behalf we will send you are initial pack of documents. You should complete and return them to us quickly to avoid any delays
  2. We will then issue the contract documents to the buyers lawyer (if you are selling) or request the them from the sellers lawyer (if you are buying)
  3. We will make the searches on your new property.
  4. We will report to you on the documentation and give appropriate advice.
  5. When the documents have all been agreed and you mortgage offer issued we will then have the documents signed and agree a completion (moving) date
  6. We will keep in close contact you on the completion day and let you know as soon as keys are released
  7. We will account to you for any surplus money, usually by bank transfer
