Residential & Commercial Conveyancer
We are looking for an experienced Residential & Commercial Conveyancer to join our well-established legal practice. The right person for this role will be a highly motivated individual who is passionate about property and helping clients achieve their property goals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of conveyancing transactions, including but not limited to, freehold/leasehold purchases, shared ownership, re-mortgages and new build developments.

Responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the team to progress a caseload of property transactions through to completion
- Liaising with estate agents, mortgage brokers and other solicitors to expedite processes
- Drafting and approving various legal documentation
- Providing administrative support to the conveyancing team (as needed)
- Building new and nurturing existing client relationships
- Assisting and communicating with clients on legal matters relating to property purchases
- Meeting deadlines in an organised and effective manner
- Conducting legal research where necessary
- Using case management systems
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least one year of experience in residential and commercial conveyancing
- Strong knowledge of the conveyancing processes
- Have experience in dealing with the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties, new build developments and re-mortgages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- The ability to work using their own initiative and make decisions
- The ability to work in a team environment
- Experience working with case management systems
Job type: Full-time or part-time considered
Salary: Dependent on experience
